Dr. Emily Vaughn graduated from the College of Staten Island with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology before receiving her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Mercy University. Emily specializes in patient-centric care, leveraging her background in Psychology to foster a strong brain-body connection for optimal recovery. Emily enjoys working with all populations, including those with orthopedic and neurological conditions (ex: stroke, Parkinson’s disease, vestibular reeducation, cerebral palsy) pediatrics, women’s health, pelvic floor, and geriatrics. She is committed to providing individualized exercise programs and education, believing that informed patients are empowered patients. Emily is a firm believer that knowledge is power and takes courses to further enhance her skills and education in order to be what her patients need.
