Dr. Tim Calvert
Pain Management, Physical Medicine, and Rehabilitation Specialist
Dr. Timothy Calvert is a fellowship-trained interventional pain physician with residency training in physical medicine & rehabilitation. Dr.Calvert has cultivated a passion for non-operative interventional techniques to help alleviate pain while restoring function throughout his career. He also has a deep interest in the rehabilitation aspect of pain and the therapeutic role exercise can play in treating pain. His goal throughout his training has been to be able to assess and diagnose pain of any origin and offer conservative and non-operative options. Dr.Calvert, a Jersey Shore native, completed his Bachelors and Masters at Boston University.
After finishing medical school at Drexel University, he stayed in Philadelphia to complete his residency at Temple University Hospital and then elected to do an accredited fellowship in interventional pain management at Rutgers NJMS/University Hospital with mentoring by some of the top interventional pain physicians in the country. Dr.Calvert is a member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, the New Jersey Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, the North American Neuromodulation Society, the Spine Intervention Society, and the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
