Dr. Slavin attended neurosurgery residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Thereafter, he completed a Complex Spine Fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He then returned to the University of Maryland Medical Center as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery while practicing complex spine neurosurgery. He also held a similar position at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester. Prior to medical school, he graduated from Georgetown University, Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Government.
